Many of us were taught to or found it safer to be disconnected from our intuition. Some of us never really understood our psychic gifts. Some of us were just never taught how to use them. Some of us had traumatic experiences that caused us to stop using our psychic abilites. Some of us just haven't used them in so long, we don't remember how to use them. As a result our intuitive insights can come intermittently or not at all.

More importantly, we may not trust our psychic abilities and intuitive insights.

Your own family members may have had their own psychic powers, but were afraid of them or didn't know how to use them. Intuition either wasn't talked about or its use was discouraged. Or you may have come from a background where intuitive knowledge was even used to hurt other people. As a result, you may not have learned how to access or develop your psychic abilities. You may have actually learned not to trust it.

So now, when you need it most, you may find your psychic powers difficult to access, identify or use.

I have been on my own, similar journey with my psychic power ans intuition. For a long time I didn't really even know what they were, though I had actually been tapping into them off and on for most of my life! I had no idea that intution is really knowledge that has not yet been proven. What a revelation, to realize that intuition is equally valid to logic. In fact, I discovered my intution frequently served me better than my logic.

I didn't start learning how to recognize and use my psychic abilities until I was an adult taking my first class in metaphysics. Up until that time I struggled when making decisions, because I tried to do it all with logic. The problem was, as debate students will tell you, I could come up with a good logical rationale for any choice. Once I started applying my psychic abilities and intution, decision making became much easier, whether I was making choices regarding my career, finances, relationships or health.

My life changed dramatically when I understood that I was getting and could continue to get Divine information through my:

—dreams
—meditations
—sacred songs
—colors I saw when healing
—relationship with nature
—body sensations
—inner voice

I discovered I was primarily clairaudient, and that among all my psychic gifts, it was the most reliable. When my ears really opened up, I knew when there was some significant place for me to be, what healing remedies would work best for me, exactly what physical condition was causing me to suffer, when I was meeting someone trustworthy and significant in my life...

and life became easier, much easier.

I began, slowly at first, and now regularly offering readings to people that have a difficult time getting to some their most significant inuititive insights. It's an honor to do that, and I know that sometimes we really need outside perspective. But what about those decisions you need to make when a psychic isn't handy?

Each person has their own unique set of psychic abilities and ways of accessing their intutitive guidance, with no two people being exactly the same. Some of you are primarily empathic, others are clairsentient or clairvoyant or clair. Some of you just know and you can't explain how you know. My Own Recent Resistance to Intuitive Guidance

I have a confession to make. I still have to remind myself to pay attention to and follow intutive guidance when it comes! I had a dream a while back in which I was telling someone that New Dream was offering classes on intuition and doing very well with them.

Well, I didn't want to teach a class on intuition. That's right. I thought it was too basic and I wanted to teach more advanced spiritual learning, so I asked all kinds of people within the Foundation if they would like to teach it. Nobody took me up on the offer.

Then one day, I heard myself talking to someone about the importance of intuition in connecting to one's Sacred Feminine. "It is the doorway," I said.


And My Breakthrough!

I had to laugh outloud at myself—at my ego. Psychic abilities and living intuitively are fundamental and significant ways we connect to the Divine Feminine and I was passing off a class on it because it was too basic? Aren't all the great spiritual principles basic? I was resisting my own intuitive guidance.

Well that did it! Days later I was interviewing New Dream members and meditating about what we need to learn in order to connect with our inuition and cultivate our psychic powers (and yes, your psychic gifts and intutive wisdom go hand in hand). Togerther, we had dozens of ideas as creativity sparked. Soon I had too much material and had to scale the class to the most important and fundamental concepts for identifying and using your psychic abilities and intuition.

Educational Approach

Classes are taught using experiential and Socratic teaching methodologies. You learn best when you are involved. Both of these techniques are designed for you to be involved,helping you discover more about and develop the unique ceremonialist and/or spiritualist in you.

During tele-classes you will spend more time participating in discussions than listening to an instructor. After classes, you will be asked to develop yourself further by engaging in assignments that take you deeper into your spiritual awareness and natural skills as a ceremonialist/spiritualist. This ensures you will be experiencing more and more ceremony, rather than merely talking or hearing about it.

During our tele-classes, you will be asked you to prepare for class by using a workbook provided for you.
